Professional Real Estate Assistant Training & Certification
About REA University
About REA University
REA University exists for one reason: to establish the professional standard for real estate administrative specialists across North America.
Real estate businesses run on the people behind the scenes, the administrators, transaction coordinators, and operations professionals who manage the details, systems, and workflows that keep agents productive and clients served. Yet for too long, these professionals have had no clear credential, no defined career path, and no recognized standard of excellence.
REA University was founded in 2006 to change that. Through rigorous, practical certification programs built specifically for the real estate industry, we give administrative professionals the credentials, knowledge, and confidence to advance their careers and give the real estate professionals who hire them a reliable benchmark for excellence.
Our flagship program, CREAS (Certified Real Estate Administrative Specialist), is a comprehensive 14-module certification covering the full scope of real estate administration for both Canadian and U.S. markets. It is the only certification of its kind.
About Pam Ivey
Pam Ivey is the founder of REA University, built to establish the professional standard for real estate administrative specialists across North America.
With more than 20 years in real estate administration and marketing, Pam’s career in the industry began in 2001, when she launched a virtual real estate administrative and marketing support agency. She spent nearly a decade partnering with top-producing agents and brokerages across North America, leading teams of up to 19 contractors and managing everything from listing coordination and lead generation to branding and contact management. That hands-on experience became the foundation for everything she now teaches.
In 2006, Pam founded REA University and developed the CPREA (Certified Professional Real Estate Assistant) certification. She is currently developing CREAS (Certified Real Estate Administrative Specialist), a comprehensive 14-module certification program covering the full scope of real estate administration for both Canadian and U.S. markets.
She holds a certificate in Business Strategy from Harvard Business School, a certification in Small Business Management from Mohawk College, serves on the Board of Advisors for the Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and brings more than 20 years of marketing and business strategy experience to her work as a Brand Recognition Strategist.
Pam is also a speaker and event producer who co-produces events under Vancouver Island Women Connect (VIWC). She is based in Ladysmith, BC.
