FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How long is the program?

The average length of time spent by our students is 4 – 6 weeks. Keep in mind that this is a self-study program, so some have completed it in as little as two weeks with dedication.

Q. How do I begin?

In order to begin the certification program, simply register for the program at https://www.reauniversity.com/cprea/. Once your payment is received, you will immediately be taken to the Student Dashboard to access the course material, assignments and exams.

Q. How is the program taken?

The entire program is self-study, meaning you can work at your own pace. It is all fully accessible online – learning content, assignments, and exam.

Q. Is the program material applicable to both the U.S.A. and Canada?

You bet!

Q. I don’t have the budget right now to pay for the entire certification program. Are there any other options available?

We understand that not everyone can manage a large cash outlay all at once. That’s why we offer a payment plan to make it easier on your budget. It’s also possible to take individual modules one at a time that will count toward the certification.

Q. Will I become a licensed real estate assistant if I complete the program?

In order to become licensed, you must successfully complete the real estate training offered through your state or province. You will then be licensed to practice real estate under a real estate agent (most often a broker/owner), as a real estate salesperson.

In other words, you the licensing is the same as a real estate salesperson. You simply choose to use your license as an assistant, allowing you to perform more tasks than a non-licensed assistant, such as hosting open houses. I recommend you connect with your local or state/provincial real estate board for additional information.
